Allie Clifton

Allie Clifton, a sports broadcaster for Spectrum Sports Net, is currently in her fifth year working for the Los Angeles Lakers. Allie Clifton is an Emmy award-winning sportscaster with over 10 year's experience in sideline reporting and sports journalism. Additionally, she has played competitive basketball for over 10 years. Prior to the move to Spectrum Sports Net, Allie has been a reporter on the sidelines on FOX Sports Ohio's Cleveland Cavaliers telecasts, sideline reporter for the Toledo Mud Hens (Triple-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers), sports feature reporter for 13 ABC Action News (WTVG) along with color analyst and sideline reporter for high school, NCAA basketball, volleyball, and track & field, on track & field and volleyball on Buckeye Cable Sports Network (BCSN). As an Ohio native, Clifton graduated from The University of Toledo with the Bachelor's degree in Sports Analysis and Communications as well as an advanced Master's degree in Liberal Studies. Her basketball career continued to be successful during her time at UT after a successful high school career, including leading her school's first ever league champion team. She was captain three times and also a four-time letterwinner in the span of 4 years. She also helped them win the Mid-American Conference West Division in 2010.
