Allison Pregler Bio
Allison Pregler is an avid film critic who reviews Z-graded films typically in the horror and martial arts genres. Her style and approach are similar to that of The Cinema Snob. However, she tends towards stupid action flicks and has a fascination with the morbid. After getting some attention in the forums of Channel Awesome (under her previous username Obscurus Lupa) and began her write reviews in late 2009. The website remained online till the start of 2015 when Obscurus Lupa Presents was redesigned into Movie Nights. Two of her podcasts are co-hosted and covering Charmed. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Ninja the Mission Force features Allison as Interpol Ninja Cheetah. Brad Jones' film Jesus Bro! was also featuring her. Guest-starring in Midnight Screenings is a regular occurrence. The program reviews grotesque movies geared towards children, RiffTrax and live shows. It also occasionally features adult comedy. The first time she reviewed movies was in 2009. When she gained acclaim on Channel Awesome forums, she was invited to join the reviewer group. She's appeared on numerous Channel Awesome shows from Atop the Fourth Wall to Phelous & the Movies. She appeared on many seasons from Nostalgia Critic and was a past member of the Channel Awesome family together with Doug Walker.
