Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd's fight sport experience began when she was 14 years old. As well as BJJ classes, she also trained in wrestling, boxing and kickboxing. When she was 18, she made her first appearance as an amateur in WCFC. Ladd gained confidence after this win and won 3 fights at Ultimate Reno Combat. Her opponents all fell by the start of the round. In WCFC, Ladd defeated Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous vote. Aspen beat Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 before taking on Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia had a superior record to Aspen in the fight, beating her in a unanimously voted victory. Cynthia's record as an amateur was damaged. Ladd won her next fight in a fight with Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 mark. Aspen was a pro-fighter for the first time in 2015 when she signed to Invicta FC. Invicta Fc 11, she defeated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the bout in the first round by TKO. Invicta 16 saw her go up to Bantamweight after winning the fight against Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen used her wrestling expertise to knock out McGill by TKO in the third round (elbows and punches). Aspen later fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, at catchweight (138.1lb), as Ladd did not have enough weight. Despite this, Aspen was able to dominate Hoy. She finished her via TKO in the second-round. Invicta FC, 21 was her last fight for promotion. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks won by unanimous vote. Her UFC debut was on UFC Fight Night 118 when she faced Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina with a ground-and-- - hit her for an TKO victory in the 2nd round. Ladd remained in the lead, and won another victory over Tonya Avinger at UFC 229 with her next fight. Ladd beat Evinger by a punch in the initial round, and was awarded the Bonus Performance of the Night. Sijara Eubanks from Invicta FC was her opponent in the rematch that took place at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. It was the fighter's first major match. The two fights were an intense fight which Ladd was victorious by a majority decision. The two fighters each received their Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie finished Ladd in just 16 seconds, breaking the streak of winning. She came back to finish Yana Kunitskaya after the third round of UFC in ESPN 7. For a replacement last minute for her UFC match, she faced Norma Dumont during UFC Fight Night 195. The fight was a unanimous decision.
